Join Women in Property Northern Scotland for a tour of the Port of Aberdeen, Scotland’s largest berthage port!

The Port of Aberdeen is an integral part of the city’s economic growth, with a rich history dating back almost 900 years. The Port services a diverse industry of sectors across oil and gas, renewables, decommissioning, general cargo, cruise and ferry services. Each aspect of this operation requires a skilled workforce and expert supply chain to maintain it’s function. In summer 2025, Aberdeen will welcome the Tall Ship Festival which expects to attract 400,000 visitors, with the Port of Aberdeen being a key facilitator of this event. From Net Zero to Tourism there is a wide range of initiatives going on, so please join us to learn some more.

The event will start with a presentation at the port’s main office, followed by a tour around the main facilities. Attendees should arrive at to the Port of Aberdeen’s office on Regent Quay at 12pm where a light lunch will be provided kindly provided by the Port. The presentation will be delivered by Property Manager, Glen Smith, before heading out in Port vehicles for the tour. The tour will be finished by 2.30pm.

PPE is required and will include sensible/safety footwear, hard hat and hi-vis. Please contact the event organiser (Shona.boyd@shepherd.co.uk) should you lack any required PPE
