Join Women in Property and Collective Architecture for a light breakfast at Coldside Library while enjoying a fascinating presentation on two exciting new affordable housing developments by Hillcrest Homes and Dundee City Council with design team lead, Collective Architecture followed by a walking tour of the Derby Street development.

Our speakers will be Ross Aitchison and Ewan Imrie from Collective Architecture and Anne MacDonald, Louise Butchart from Dundee City Council, and Fiona Morrisson from Hillcrest Homes .

Discover the innovative thinking behind these ground-breaking projects:

  • Derby Street - 162 new homes on a previously vacant urban site in the Hilltown area, reinstating historic street patterns with a mix of family houses, flats, and accessible homes.
  • Ellengowan Phase 1 - a major new affordable housing development which replaces poorly insulated interwar cottage flats. The 70 new homes offer a variety of housing options for elderly residents, families, and those with accessibility needs.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.

  • 10:00 AM: Presentation and Q&A with the development team.
  • 11:00 AM: Walking tour of Derby Street.
  • 12 noon: close
