Women in Property are excited to announce our first collaboration event with Muslims in Real Estate (MiRE) – an Islamic Art Class with the MIAH Foundation.
This event is open to all genders and backgrounds from the property industry, with an opportunity to learn a brief history of Islamic Art and how this relates to the built environment, through the style of geometry. Attendees will be painting a tile in a geometric style, inspired by the history of Islamic Art.
There will be plenty of opportunities to network throughout the evening and traditional snacks and (soft) drinks will be served as an informal Eid celebration.
MIAH Foundation will be delivering this workshop; a little more about MIAH:
The Museum of Islamic Arts & Heritage (MIAH) Foundation is a charitable organisation established in 2020. MIAH aim to promote awareness and understanding of the history, arts, culture and heritage of the Islamic world, as well as the history of Muslims in Britain and Europe through exhibitions, education, workshops and events. MIAH also aims to increase the representation and engagement of people of colour and minority groups of Muslim heritage with the arts, culture and heritage sector.
This event is hosted by Bruntwood and sponsored by Women in Property.
Our event is hosted at an accessible venue but please do contact us with any accessibility queries.
