Please join the Midlands Branch of Women in Property for a collaborative event with West Midlands RICS board for a Factory tour and tile making experience day at Jackfield Tile Museum, Ironbridge.
The morning will be hosted by Craven Dunnill, the UK’s longest-operating tile manufacturing and supply group. Founded in 1872 the company has an unrivalled reputation for the production and supply of quality ceramic tiles.
Craftsmanship of the highest calibre. Combining traditional with modern production techniques to reinvent ceramics. Award-winning installations around the World featuring high-end residences, 5* hotels, iconic bars and restaurants, encaustic tiled floors, artistic murals and feature walls.
The visit includes breakfast, a tour around the tile factory and a hands on tile making session with the experts.
8:30 AM | Guest Arrival & Welcome Reception. Welcome coffee and fresh pastries served upon arrival
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM | Guided behind the scenes Factory Tour of our production facility
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM | Hands-On Tile Making Session by Expert Jen Kelleher. Participate in a creative, hands-on experience that highlights our traditional techniques. Create your own bespoke tile with guidance from artisans (guests will need to provide address/contact information for tile delivery post-event).
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
