Join Women in Property Midlands for a CPD session entitled ‘Local Election Wrap Up’ followed by networking.

Attendees are invited to arrive at Interface’s offices located in The Colmore Building, 20 Colmore Circus Queensway at 17.00.

The CPD session will commence at 17.30, when we shall be hearing from Dominic Stanford and Jack Boyce from DevComms on the subject of the May 2025 local elections.

The CPD will provide an overview of the outcome of the elections, with a specific focus on the Midlands, and explore the implications the results are likely to have for the built environment sector, including;

  • What happens when the party leading a local authority changes
  • New Mayors and getting a Combined Authority off the ground
  • The rise of Reform
  • What next for the main parties?

Following the CPD there will be a Q&A session, after which attendees are invited to network over a few drinks and nibbles with fellow attendees and the team at DevComms.

Speakers:

Jack Boyce is DevComms' Midlands Director. Boasting extensive consultancy experience to the Built Environment, Jack launched the Midlands office in 2023. Prior to entering into public affairs consultancy, Jack worked at the heart of UK politics, working with senior Government Ministers and advising on national and regional political party campaigns.

Dominic Stanford is a Senior Account Manager at DevComms. He has previously served as a Birmingham City Councillor and worked for several years in Parliament. As a County Council candidate himself, he is in the thick of the local election campaigns and is perfectly placed to deliver an engaging CPD wrapping up the impact of the local elections.

This event is kindly sponsored by DevComms who have curated this CPD session for us – and is hosted by Interface.

DevComms specialise in political and community engagement for the built environment sector, providing strategic communications advice to their clients and act as a conduit between elected representative, communities and developers in the planning process.
