Cumberland Council is developing a long-term vision to preserve the history of Carlisle. There are a number of projects underway within Carlisle city centre, all being funded from different sources and with a staged delivery programme.
Our speakers from Cumberland Council and University of Cumbria have been involved in securing the £80M funding and managing delivery of the public realm projects, including the Carlisle Rail Station, city pedestrian enhancement schemes and The Citadel University Campus.
We look forward to welcoming you at this event where you will hear about the masterplan; the discrete projects and the programme which will see the first piece of the jigsaw on the ground before the end of the year.
Followed by a Question and Answer panel, and an opportunity to walk the site.
