Join us for an exclusive site visit to Shore Station, a heritage-led redevelopment in Leith that is transforming a former industrial site into a student-led, mixed-use scheme centred around purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), alongside retained and reimagined structures. 

This event will begin with a project overview presentation by Lucie Killen, associate at Civic, who will introduce the vision for the project, the structural engineering challenges and opportunities, and how Civic’s climate-sensitive, system-thinking approach has shaped the design. Civic is working closely with MLA and HUB as part of the wider project team to deliver a high-quality response to the site’s heritage context, including the integration of Category B listed buildings. 

Attendees will then take a short walk to the site for a guided tour, hosted with the support of contractor McAleer Rushe, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the project in construction.
