Women in Property Central Scotland is delighted to host a special supper club in partnership with MILK Catering, Glasgow.
Founded in 2015, MILK is a social enterprise set up to empower and support women from refugee and migrant backgrounds. MILK’s food is influenced by deliciously diverse and healthy recipes.
A cooking demonstration will be delivered by two members of the MILK network, followed by a meal and networking at this informal and informative evening. We will also gain a deeper understanding of the type of foods considered permissible within some of Glasgow’s diverse cultures. MILK’s community connector, Angela Ireland, will also be there to explain the ways in which the organisation makes a difference, providing an insight into some of the wider projects that they’re involved with.
We are excited to bring this event to our members and guests as we host inclusive networking opportunities that engage with the local community.
This event is kindly sponsored by Gardiner & Theobald LLP as part of their business with purpose mission which includes supporting community and industry initiatives that promote a more equitable society.
Note. The venue is fully accessible, the menu will be vegetarian and no alcoholic drinks will be served.
Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
