Join Women in Property Central Scotland for "Threads of Sustainability: Swapping Styles, Shaping Spaces", hosted by Wallace Whittle in its Glasgow offices.
We’ll start the evening with some delicious nibbles and drinks, before we hear from Director and Head of Sustainability at Wallace Whittle, David Spiteri who’ll draw parallels between the fashion industry and the world of building design and construction, highlighting the critical role that sustainable practices play in both realms as we work towards a more environmentally conscious and socially responsible future.
Just as the fashion industry has increasingly embraced sustainable materials, ethical sourcing, and eco-friendly production methods, the building and construction industry must also prioritise sustainability in various aspects of design, development, and occupancy. Here, we explore the shared principles and innovative approaches that can guide both sectors towards a more sustainable and harmonious coexistence with our planet.
But that's not all – we’re having a Clothes Swap! We invite you to bring along 5-10 items of clothing, shoes or accessories that you no longer need. In exchange, you'll have the opportunity to take home ‘new-to-you pieces’, with any remaining items being donated to Smart Works Scotland, a charity dedicated to empowering women by providing them with interview-appropriate clothing.
Don't miss this chance to connect, learn, and make a positive impact on both your wardrobe and the environment.
Members and non-member of all genders are welcome to attend.
