Rising Powers: Understanding the New Politics of Planning Seminar

All event fees are listed net of VAT.

The UK's political landscape is undergoing one of its most significant transformations in decades. Traditional voting patterns are being disrupted, challenger parties are gaining influence, and new political voices are reshaping the conversation around growth, housing and development. For those involved in planning and development, understanding these changes has never been more important.

At its core, this workshop from DevComms examines the rise of challenger parties, including Reform UK and the Green Party, and the impact they are having on local government, planning committees and development priorities across the country. The session also explores the wider political stories shaping the national conversation, from Andy Burnham's premiership to a look ahead of Party Conference season, assessing the key themes, political narratives likely to emerge, and what they could mean for planning, development and growth.

Designed for developers, housebuilders, landowners and planning professionals, this seminar helps attendees understand not only what is happening in politics today, but what it could mean for projects tomorrow.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Members and non-members of all genders are welcome to attend.
