Christmas Chocolate Bar Making Workshop

What better way to get into the festive spirit than with chocolate?

Join Women in Property at York Cocoa Works for a fun and hands-on Christmas Chocolate Bar Making Workshop, where you’ll discover a little more about York’s chocolate-making heritage before creating your very own festive chocolate masterpiece.

York is famous around the world for its chocolate heritage, so there’s no better place to get creative with cocoa. During the workshop, you’ll learn about the origins of cocoa, discover how chocolate is made on site at York Cocoa Works and sample some of their delicious chocolate before getting stuck in yourself.

You’ll have the chance to choose your chocolate, seasonal flavours and decorations, then mould and design your own creation. Whether you opt for a Christmas tree, twinkling star or a more traditional chocolate bar, you can make it your own.

Once your creation has set, it will be beautifully wrapped for you to take home, ready to enjoy yourself or give as a very welcome Christmas present!

During the workshop you will:

• Discover where cocoa comes from and learn about its origins
• Find out how chocolate is made at York Cocoa Works
• Sample a selection of York Cocoa Works chocolate
• Choose your chocolate and create your own festive bar
• Experiment with seasonal flavours and decorations
• Take your beautifully wrapped chocolate creation home
• Enjoy valuable networking time

Please allow at least 20 minutes at the end of the workshop for your chocolate creation to set before it can be packaged up and taken home.
