Royal United Hospital (RUH) Cancer Centre construction site tour and presentation

Join Women in Property South West and Keir for a site visit of RUH Cancer Centre guided by Matt Griffiths, design lead for Healthcare at Keir along with Tom Bryan-Smith, design manager and Simon Clarke, Senior Project Manager. This is Keir’s fourth and largest scheme for Bath NHS Foundation Trust, culminating in over 10 years of RUH master planning. Works are due for completion in the summer of 2023 and works to complete the concrete frame are underway.

The state of the art facility will incorporate the following departments under the collective Dyson Cancer Centre name:

Chemotherapy, Acute In-Patients Ward, Oncology Out-Patients, Staff Hub/Support Facilities, Satellite Pharmacy, Nuclear Medicine, Clinical Trials, Medical Physics, Radiotherapy, Wellbeing Information and Support Hub including Macmillan.

Itinerary as follows: 

• 10:00- Welcome and visitor introduction
• 10:30-Presentation of final design with Q&A (also available virtually)
• 11:00- Site tour (12 person capacity for the site tour)
• 12:30- Close

There is limited capacity for the site tour so please book early. Please provide your own PPE including site shoes.
