Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London - POSTPONED

Said to be the oldest extant military ceremony in the world this is an ancient ritual, held every evening at the Tower of London, when the main gates are locked.

Our evening will start with networking drinks and nibbles, kindly hosted by Lichfields, and we will then go from their offices to the Tower for a short tour. After the tour we’ll have the opportunity for some drinks at the Keys, the Yeoman Warders’ own pub within the perimeter of the Tower before witnessing the historic Ceremony.

Timings

17.45 Meet at Lichfields for networking drinks and canapes
19.10 Leave Lichfields to walk to the Tower
19.25 Meet at the Tower gate to commence tour
20.15 Refreshments in the Keys Club
21.30 Ceremony of the Keys
22.05 Either depart or return to the Keys for a nightcap

Please note the Keys is a CASH BAR only. We will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to support the Beefeaters’ charities, again cash payments only. Food is not available.

Dress code: Semi-formal/jacket and tie. Strictly no jeans or trainers. Over 18s only.

Members can bring their partner or a guest with them at the member’s price.
