The class of 2021, Women in Property National Student Awards finalists

The 2021 winner of the National Student Awards is Charity Zawadi Mwambeyu, studying Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol. The judges described Charity as “having great maturity and professionalism, confidence and humour, and a real serenity and depth about her.  She gave very well-structured responses to our questions and, in our view, embodied the potential for an alternative way of leadership. We were wowed by her comments, for example ‘great things never come from staying in your comfort zone”, and adopting Verna Myers’ quote ‘Diversity is being invited to the party but inclusion is being asked to dance’.”

Charity competed against twelve other national finalists.  As ever the standards were exceptionally high and the judges wished to congratulate all the finalists, who are:
