STEM CPD Lunch, Sheffield - SOLD OUT

Join us at Sheffield Hallam University’s Hertha Ayrton STEM Centre for a CPD event with Watson Batty Architects in the heart of the City Centre Campus. The event will include a presentation from Rima Yousif, Regional Director at Watson Batty Architects and lead architect on the project. Rima will present the design concept for the centre which was focused on creating a high-quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) building to encourage more females to take up those courses. A networking lunch will be provided prior to the talk and the event will conclude with a walking tour of the building.

The space boasts galleries, collaborative spaces and social learning areas and was influenced by its namesake Sarah Hertha Ayrton who was a British engineer, mathematician and inventor. The project was led by a female architect and female engineer.
