In April 2019, the Committee on Climate Change will publish a report on the feasibility of extending the 2008 Climate Change Act’s 2050 target from 80% renewables to 100% renewables. But just what does 100% renewables look like? In the wake of the 2018 IPCC Special 1.5degrees Report, we have 12 years to implement wide-ranging and unprecedented changes to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.
Join us for lunch followed by the seminar and discussion on what sets the limits to renewables in our society and how this will affect the UK in the coming years.
Limited spaces available – so please reserve your place by the 22nd March to avoid disappointment!
