Wednesday 10 January 2018
On Wednesday 10 January Bircham Dyson Bell LLP hosted Women in Property for a breakfast briefing on GDPR which comes into force later this year. Penny Bygrave, Senior Associate at Bircham Dyson Bell, gave an insightful talk outlining the principles under the new regime and covering matters such as changes to the person responsible for breaches of the regulations and the importance of privacy notices, the obligation to keep a record of processing activities and compulsory breach notification.
The seminar was well-received with a lively Q&A session and left us all with an excellent grounding in how the new regulations will affect those who work in property.
