Another wonderful site tour back by popular demand and always a sell out. Feedback from some of the guests is below:
I had a really fab time looking around Kampus. It is somewhere I am always walking past and, being a heritage consultant, I was interested to know what was occurring with the listed buildings. The tour provided me with the perfect opportunity to have a good look around and understand what the plans were to bring the buildings back to life, together with learning how that whole once neglected area was being injected with a new vibrancy. I was really fascinated by the process of how they were also including the 1960s office block too. What made the tour of even more special was hearing it from the horse’s mouth, with Adam Higgins on hand to inject his enthusiasm into the plans and the visuals he was presenting to us. Aside from the tour too was the catch up (and warm up!) over coffee at the Black Sheep with some of the wonderfully friendly ladies at WiP – a good round up to a memorable tour. Can’t wait to see Kampus in action!
Thanks again for organising it and I look forward to more!

I thought the event was well organised and it was great to get the opportunity to visit an active construction site and see how developments are delivered. As a Planner I found this particularly interesting as I don’t always get the opportunity to visit construction sites or get too involved with how buildings / sites come together and are constructed. We got to access lots of areas of the site and even the roof top which was great. Having breakfast after the event worked well. I think breakfast / early morning events are good because they have minimal impact upon the working day.
I like the walking tours that WiP hold as you get the opportunity to easily network with a lot of different attendees at the event.
