Review of Member's Session 5: Wellbeing

Thursday 08 August 2019

Women in Property North West held a Members Session lunch on the 8th August to discuss Wellbeing in the Workplace and obtain members views and input for Wellbeing focused events over the next 12 months.

The venue was perfect for the event as it was quiet enough for the group to openly discuss their ideas over a tapas style lunch. The extended time for lunch meant that there was enough time for the group to get to know each other as well as discuss wellbeing topics.

The attendees discussed personal experiences and were enthusiastic in their suggestions for future events.

These include;

These ideas are being developed and will feature in the North West event calendar over the next year.

Feedback was very positive.

Event Feedback

‘The ‘Wellbeing in the workplace’ session was an amazing introduction to my first week as a member of Women in Property. The discussions were engaging and insightful, and it was a pleasure to listen to the ideas of the other members, as well as being able to put forward my own suggestions in a more intimate setting. I think it’s great that the committee offer opportunities for others to have their say and I feel as though I’m a part of the community now. Overall, the afternoon made me excited about what’s to come for WiP over the next year!’

'I thought it was a great event and had wanted to email to tell you so thank you for the prompt. It was great to meet and speak with like-minded people and learn from each other’s experiences in order to facilitate change within the industry.'
