Join us for a guided tour and “Netwalking” around the new National Trust for Scotland Corrieshalloch Gateway to Nature Centre.
Currently on site and due to open in spring 2023. Once open, visitors will be able to make use of the new takeaway café, toilets, electric car charging and NTS ranger station, as well as a fabulous new path network through the native woodland to the Victorian suspension bridge overlooking the crashing waterfalls in the gorge.
We will start by touring the new buildings with Catriona from Oberlanders Architects and Robert from Simpson Builders. After this, we will enjoy some woodland ‘Netwalking’ in the new path network by the side of the gorge. Corrieshalloch Gorge is designated a National Nature Reserve in recognition of the spectacular gorge and the surrounding woodland, and we hope it will provide members with a relaxing environment to make new contacts and learn about the new future for the Corrieshalloch site.
Where to meet:
Public car park at the side of the A835, opposite the Corrieshalloch Bridge.
