Having started life in a small village in Derbyshire, Karen's career in architecture has taken her from Newcastle to Florence and London to New York.
Karen settled in Glasgow, graduating from The Glasgow School of Art. Karen then quickly climbed the ladder at Page Park, where she now sits as chair of the board. Amongst the 27 projects Karen has overseen, perhaps her most notable is The Kelvin Hall redevelopment, the first building in the United Kingdom to bring together museum, archive and sports facilities, to create a cross-cultural destination.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end.
