Friday June 14, 2019
The talent, skills and ambition of the region’s female property and construction student undergraduates were celebrated at the annual North West Women in Property Student Awards, hosted by Bruntwood at Union, in Manchester on 12th June.
The 2019 North West Award went to Rosie Mead, a student at the University of Liverpool, where she is in her second year studying Town and Regional Planning MPlan. The judges described Rosie as “very clever, articulate and likeable with a mature outlook and honesty.”
Rosie, like all the national finalists, receives a trophy, £300 and the opportunity to take part in Women in Property’s acclaimed mentoring programme.
Rosie will go on to represent the North West on 18th September when she goes before a National judging panel, competing against 13 other regional finalists for the National Student Awards, which are sponsored by Bouygues, Linden Homes and Savills. The national winner will be announced at the Best of Best dinner, at Claridge’s on the evening of 18th September.
