The Association of Women in Property

Winners

The National Student Awards 2009 are now complete.  Without exception, the regional and national judges were impressed with the professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated by the candidates this year, indeed every year since the Awards were launched in 2007.

In September, eight regional finalists went head to head at the 'Best of Best' Awards Dinner at Claridge's, to determine the national winner.

Congratulations go to Anjna Farmah, studying Architecture at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design who has won the 2009 national title.  Anjna said, "I feel so honoured to be selected by the judges.  Having met the other contestants, I can understand they had a difficult choice because all of the women offered so much potential"

Hannah Wright, studying Urban Studies at the University of Sheffield was awarded 'Highly Commended' in this closely contended competition.

The two previous winners are Fiona Forrest, who completed her degree in Property Management and Valuation, achieving a First and, in 2008, Marie Reaveley, who also studied Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield.
