Our 25th Anniversary
Twenty Five Years Later…
In 1987, two property professionals
- architect Elspeth Clements and surveyor Michelle Foster - met by
chance at an industry event. Both agreed it was time something was
done to improve networking for women working in property and
construction. That was the beginning of the Association
of Women in Property.
In 2012 we celebrated our
25th Anniversary. Celebrations commenced with a
special event to launch the Property Week Women's Power Top 100
list, which was held at the offices of Taylor Wessing on 26th
April. Coverage of that event appeared in Property Week on

We have also been seeking our own
Top 25 Women in the industry, women who will have an important role
to play as ambassadors at our branch celebrations throughout 2012
and into early 2013.
