Pamela Robertson, an Architectural Technology Student studying
at Robert Gordon University and the winner of this year's Student
Award, was presented with her trophy at a very relaxed and
enjoyable event held on the Mezzanine Gallery at Carden Church on
the evening of 19th May. Catherine Thornhill, Chairman
of WIP Northern Scotland presented Pamela with her Trophy and a
cheque for £300.
All the finalists were present and they were all highly
commended by Jacquie Forbes, Student Awards Tsarina, for the
quality of the presentations each made to the judges at the
assessment interviews. After the presentation the assembled members
guests and students were entertained by PR guru Brett Jackson on
the theme of 'Working the Room'
Pamela will now go on to represent the Region at the National
Finals in London on 27th September 2011 and will attend
the 'Best of the Best' Awards dinner at Claridge's where the
National Winner will be announced. Catherine and Jacquie will also
travel to London to support Pamela and represent the Northern
Scotland at the dinner.
