Our tour was lead by the fantastic and enthusiastic Green
Badge tour guide Philippa Cave.
Philippa led the group around Central Manchester giving
us wonderful insights into the city's murky and magnificent
past.
Enlightening us with tales of feisty females and wonderful
women that have helped shape our lives today. Along with views
of architecture and construction from the past to the
present.
After weaving through the streets we returned to the
Manchester Jazz Festival Pavilion tent where we enjoyed drinks and
nibbles to the sounds of the beautiful Rodina into the
evening.
