Women in Property Liverpool Subcommittee Christmas
Lunch, 15 December 2010
Despite the economic doom and gloom of 2010, coupled with
the coldest winter on record for 100 years, Women In Property
members and guests made the journey to The Noble House, Liverpool
for the Liverpool Subcommittee's annual Christmas Lunch.
Everyone attended with an abundance of Christmas spirit and
the intention was clearly to forget the duldrum year gone by and
start the festivities with vigour!
After initial introductions discussions moved on to the new
year ahead and considerations of how, where and when opportunities
could come about to raise personal and professional profiles and
increase workloads; to organise co-hosted events, and even to
cross-refer work between disciplines - clearly demonstrating one of
the primary aims of Women In Property. A success already and not
one drop of drink had passed our lips!
The Noble House - the venue and its staff - did not
disappoint and whilst we enjoyed a sumptuous banquet of various
Christmas courses, the atmosphere remained relaxed but
focused on 2011. We all looked forward to being more active in the
new year and keen to take advantage of networking opportunities,
such as those organised through Women In Property.
