New Street Station... the latest developments, May

On 26 May 2011 Carol Stitchman (Head of Design for
Birmingham Gateway) delivered a talk on the latest progress with
the redevelopment of New Street Station, the next stages of
the development, and provided an interesting 'fly through' of
what the finished station will look like.
New Street station is a landmark in Birmingham and, once
completed, the new station should have a positive practical
impact for the many commuters and other users of the station.
The event was popular with a good mix of members and non-members
attending. The Midlands branch of Women in Property are hoping to
run a similar event again in 2012 when progress on the new station
has moved on.
