International Branches
As international relocation has evolved, so have the
relationships Women in Property has developed overseas. Now
we have created an International Membership targeted at those
members whose work might take them abroad for periods of
time but who value the opportunity to network at Women in Property
events, both at home in the UK and at events with which we are
involved internationally.
Germany
We have established links with the German equivalent of our
Association, Immofrauen, members of who were in
London from 3rd to 5th June. The members of
Immofrauen attending this long weekend of activities can be
downloaded here. Site visits were organised by
the South East branch and these can be viewed on their events
review pages. Photographs will be loaded shortly.

Region North of Frauen in der Immobilienwirtschaft
(Immo-Frauen):
"When we announced the excursion to London to meet with Women in
Property the tour was booked out in 48 hours. This demonstrated the
large interest from Germany "Immo-Frauen" to connect with WIP in
the UK. Not only that London is unique for its interesting real
estate developments, but also there are close business connections
for real estate, property and facility projects between the UK and
Germany.
The excursion included a walking tour through the City of London, a
visit of the Gherkin, Guild Hall, Kings Cross, One New Change,
London Eye, Savoy Hotel, Covent Garden, Mayfair and
Greenwich.
Women in Property, Fiona Alfred, Cathy Stewart and Lynette Lackey
had arranged the majority of these very interesting site tours and
presentations.
The diversity and order of magnitude of the projects visited was
exceptional. Seeing the sites and meeting the ladies from WIP was
truly inspirational, broadened our horizons and will allow us to
strengthen the international relationship of Women in Property in
Europe. To further build on the newly developed relationships,
Immo-Frauen will invite WIP for an excursion to Germany in
2011.
Immo-Frauen Germany thank all organisers of this successful

Mipim 2010
In March we were supported by Team Scotland at MIPIM in
Cannes, when we hosted a brunch for Women in Property members and
their guests on Wednesday 17th March. Details are
under Events.
United Arab Emirates
Also, in March we launched our first international branch, based
in the United Arab Emirates, details of which can be found on the
UAE home page.
