On the 9th November a large group were treated to an
inspiring and charismatic lecture by architect and academic Ed
Hollis on his book The Secret Lives of Buildings. He took us on a
number of journeys through the adaption of various historic
buildings. The talk also included a number of situations in
Edinburgh where buildings have altered to survive in a series of
fascinating interventions. The inspiring surroundings of Tsunami
Axis's show room of classic contemporary furniture provided a
suitable back drop for the evening. At the end those in attendance
were able to chat to the author and have him sign copies of his
book.
