Central Scotland
Chairs Reception
22nd September 2011 at The Ghillie
Dhu, Edinburgh
This annual event proved to be incredibly popular this
year with over 100 guests enjoying the fantastic venue and music
from Six Storeys High, an up and coming Edinburgh band.
In her welcome address Kate Bilbrough, Central Scotland
Chairman, commented on how fantastic it was to see so many members
and non-members at the event and how important it was in these
challenging economic times to support business development through
networking. Women In Property are especially focussed on
developing the careers of their members through a number of
initiatives, she continued, including our mentoring scheme which
had recently held a mentors' and mentees' training day.
Through initiatives like this, and our Annual Student Awards
scheme, Women in Property are committed to supporting women of all
levels progress through their careers.
The event was sponsored by Thomas and Adamson and Thomas
Johnstone and the business card draw was provided by Will Rudd
Davidson. All these companies have been long-time supporters
of the Central Scotland Branch and Women in Property in general,
and Kate took the opportunity to thank them for their continued
support.
