The Association of Women in Property

Our Beginning

It was a chance meeting between architect, Elspeth Clements and surveyor, Michelle Foster in 1987 that led to the founding of The Association of Women in Property, initially as a networking platform for professional women in the property sector.  Now, 23 years later, we have over 1,400 members across twelve branches nationwide, from Aberdeen to Cornwall.

Our Ethos

The role of the Association is as relevant today as it was in 1987.   Our ethos is firmly grounded in professional growth, multi-disciplinary networking and opportunities for new business development.  Indeed, with over 300 events across the country each year, members have plenty of scope to explore their potential.
